Look what the cat dragged in!
I have been in the cooking biz for 13 years now -YIKES! And, this is is my second career! DOUBLE YIKES! Believe it or not, I have never cooked with Indian corn. As a matter of fact, I have never seen a chef or an Indian cook with Indian corn either.
This realization got my little pea brain thinking. Uh-Oh!
If the old school Indians were able to cook with the colored corn, and offer up delectable dishes to the pilgrims, than why can’t I! I mean, back then they had to make fire from scratch.
I have decided to try my hand at making colored popcorn. By dislodging the kernels, I think I may have a good chance! However, as my gears turn, I have to wonder, is popcorn made out of the kernel or the seed? Is the seed the kernel? If that is the case, what came first, the kernel or the seed? As my stepson would say. Patty, HELL-LOW, it all came from the aliens!
